Answers to common questions about SportsWareOnine Injury Tracking Software

Can I import my existing SportsWare Desktop data into SportsWareOnLine?

Yes – There is a small, one-time charge for CSMi to import all of your existing data from SportsWare Desktop into SportsWareOnLine.

Can I import my existing data from a competitive program into SportsWareOnLine?

Yes – If you can get your existing athlete demographic information into MS Excel, we can import it for you. We are not able to import injury and treatment information from other injury tracking systems.

How much does SportsWareOnLine cost?

SportsWareOnLine is a subscription based service. Billing is done annually. Your price depends on the number of concurrent uses with the ability to add, edit, or delete records from a database. Typically this is the athletic trainer. There is no charge for athletes to use SportsWareOnLine. There is no charge for coaches to useSportsWareOnLine. There is no charge for view only access users to use SportsWareOnLine (typically physicians or administrators). The more concurrent licenses you purchase the lower the cost per license.

How do I raise money for SportsWare?

Many schools purchase SportsWare with funding supplied by boosters, a parent, or a local business. Why? Because supporting the Athletic Trainer is the best way to support every athlete at the school.

Can our school district get a group discount?

Group discount pricing is based on the number of licenses purchased and shared under one account. After four licenses are purchased and shared under a single account, all additional licenses are eligible for discounts. We also have multi-year renewal discounts available. Reach out to our sales team for more information.

Are updates and support additional with SportsWareOnLine?

No. Because SportsWareOnLine is a true web-based application (nothing is loaded onto the local device), there is only one copy of the program which all of your users are sharing. When an update is released, all users gain access immediately and updates are covered in the annual subscription price.

Which Desktop browsers is SportsWareOnLine Compatible with?

We recommend using Google Chrome with SportsWareOnLine, but the following web browsers will also work:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Internet Explorer 11 and above
  • Safari

Please note: There are some known bugs in Safari and Firefox at this time. Our dev team is working to resolve them in a future release.

Is SportsWareOnLine HIPAA compliant?

CSMi certifies that to the best of its’ ability and understanding, the SportsWareOnLine program has been designed to meet or exceed the guidelines set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). You can learn more about HIPAA from these websites:

Can I dictate a note into SportsWareOnLine?

Yes, if you own an iPhone and use the Dictate function of Siri (which is built into the keyboard of your device).
